Maui County Booking Releases Data Fields
Each Maui County booking release holds a standard set of fields under Hawaii Revised Statutes section 846-2.5. The record lists the arrestee's full legal name, any aliases on file, date of birth, gender, race, and physical markers. The State Identification Number, or SID, ties the record to any prior Hawaii arrest. The FBI number ties the file to federal history when one is on file. Officers collect fingerprint impressions under Hawaii Revised Statutes section 846-3, and the prints move into the AFIS system at the Hawaii Criminal Justice Data Center.
Arrest detail fields list the date, time, and location of the stop or the booking. Charge codes match the section of the Hawaii Revised Statutes cited by the officer. A short charge name follows the code. The arresting agency and the badge number fill out the custody chain. The case disposition is added later and reflects the court outcome. Maui County agencies must keep records accurate under Hawaii Revised Statutes section 846-9.

- State Identification Number and any FBI number
- Arrest date, time, and location
